Pictures from Vietnam 1965-66 ---Part 3

I have tons of pictures from Dad that he took while serving a year in Vietnam and it's tough picking just the right ones but here are some more...

Giving out food and supplies to the locals

The little guy has a bar of soap and I think he's ready for his bath too!
Still has that soap!

Young girls pedaling to school Saigon 1966
Saigon, 1966...pretty sure they have a different sign up now.
More downtown Saigon 1966
Downtown Plaza Saigon, 1966

There's Dad making friends.

Well that's it for now....part 4......maybe soon

Wow, it's fascinating to look at these photos! I've never seen anyone's personal photos of Vietnam, so it's a completely different view of things. That little guy with the soap is simply adorable, heart-touching (made that word up, but it's accurate to me)! Also, you look like your dad ... like, I don't know about facial features, but just his posture and stuff :)
Tell your pops thank you for serving our country in that shitty war. Seriously.

Great pics. My Dad also served in the AF in Vietnam, (DaNang and Phan Rang) at about the same time as your Dad. My Dad was in aircraft maint. and is just now starting to share stories. Hope your Dad is still with us and tell him "Thank You" for his service, for me.
