I Wonder if George Bush Reads This Page

I was reading Steve Pizzo's article at AlterNet this morning and found some of his ideas interesting, but what I found even more interesting were the responses. Changes in this country are inevetible, what form of change (Violent/Non-Violent) is the real question in my mind.

Same old, Same old

Ribs are getting better. I still cannot lay down on a bed but hey, a painter from Peabody, just in the past few days, fell from a 22 foot height and was med flighted to the hospital. He's in a lot worse shape than me. Hope he makes it through.

Still haven't a clue as to how to make this place a better gathering spot for some friendly banter and exchange of ideas.

If the aforementioned painter doesn't have any insurance, I wonder if he will be taken care of as well as someone carrying BC/BS?

With all the comittees, sub-comittees, special investigators for Lewinskies, voter fraud, whitewater, healthcare reform, blah blah blah. With the tax dollars used on that shit we probably could have paid the health care bill for everyone in this country. What did we get, well duh! Now we know blow jobs aren't considered to be sex! Thanks Bill, no don't get up our taxes will pay for that enlightenment.

Universal Health Care

What is wrong with this country that we cannot have free healthcare available to its' citizens ? Even having routine care, yearly physicals, vaccinations, emergency services available could go a long way to improving the system in place now.

Government is worried they will piss off some business interested in making a buck off sick americans. They might lose contributions or a few votes. God fobid.

Anyway my ribs are still sore. More later

Toms' Hideaway

Toms' Hideaway

May 30, 2006

I Broke three ribs last week while painting a house. I work for myself and currently I will be out of commision for awhile. This is my first attempt a creating a BLOG and I really don't know what I am doing. What I do know is that with broken ribs it's hard to breath, cough, burp, walk, sneeze, Well it's hard to do just about anything.

Anyone have advice on rib repair, I have no medical insurance but I have access to some help. I've painted for Doctors and physical therapists so I use barter to get some services. But I'd love any new ideas.
