It wasn't a dream, right there in the beach parking lot we drove by a guy with his skateboard sailing apparatus. I wasn't even surprised!!!
People don skis and a para-sail nowadays,
why not Skateboard-Sailing..and then there is .....
ZORBING, created in New Zealand, seems pretty original and not quite as deadly as some other extreme sports....
Unless you try and use your zorb another way like this...
And of course give someone an idea and some of the sports pictured the next video slide show, may actually become real sporting activities....

Back in the early 1950s, when I lived down by Flax Pond, there was a neighbor who was a speed skater. In the winter, he'd be out on the ice with his speed skates and a similar sail.
i'm so JEALOUS!!! skateboard skiing is the exact kinda stuff that i WANT to do, and we don't even have any shitty excuse for a beach here...nevermind that it's still winter, 6 months in. :( i'm just sitting here with my bike and my roller blades INSIDE, awaiting decent weather. that's why i count on you to entertain me :)

After viewing some of these "sports", I am convinced that someone forgot to lock up at the nuthouse and some of the inmates escaped!

Speed skating with a sail is called skate sailing. You can find pictures by doing a Google image search for "skate sailing"

taken in 1933, there are two people skate sailing - one male and one female. I don't think a penis was required equipment. :>)
