One World - One Remote

It's time for all the manufacturers of T.V's, Cable Boxes, VCR and DVD players to come together and create one REMOTE. Sure they sell universal remotes now but getting them to work with all your devices can prove to be very tricky.

The Universal remotes you buy today come with codes..input the code and it works on one device, another code for a different device...You end up pushing six buttons before you hit play.

The Universals of today are a pain in the ASS!!

What needs to be done is that there shouldn't be that many codes..Just make the units work with a universal signal...All TV's, Cable Boxes, DVD's, etc....accept the same friggin code. When you buy a TV you don't need a new remote!!

What is it with these people, you buy a new TV, a new DVD , you have Cable hooked up and suddenly you are holding 3 remotes in your hand every time you want to get the TV to go ON.

CRAZY !!

Making companies build their devices to accept 1 remote that would work on ALL their devices as well as their competitors would be good for the environment too...less remotes would need to be made, fewer batteries consumed.

Hell Apple may come out with the I-Remote for those who want a chic looking universal...bottom line there should be no need to program the remote for your electronic devices...it works for everything!!

It's a WIN WIN situation.

Now where is that stupid REMOTE!!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend...!

Looking over the Poll Results from my last post, I notice that dog, Toto, is winning....Hello!!! I'm asking for a little support here for Bruiser!! I think people pick Toto because he's from "The Wizard of OZ' and let's face it, more people have seen that movie than have seen "Legally Blonde" Ask your self this, Does Toto make you laugh???

I would like to get Bruiser working on my Campaign, maybe in some sort of International role...I think he would be helpful working on the immigration problems with Mexico given his experience in the courts...

Certainly He could never be First Dog, that's reserved for Minnie....the family dog

Last night marked the return of the TV Show The 4400...I need to get my hands on some Promicin so that I can unleash my super ability on the world.....If you had a Super -Ability what would you want it to be....??

Monday's on TV I have to watch two shows, "HEROES" and "24." Since they are on at the same time I put one on DVR. I watched "HEROES" last night and if you watch the series, then last week you saw the young boy "Micah" discovered his "Power." Micah can go up to any ATM and just get all the cash. ......Pretty Cool.


Now when I sat down to watch last night I was sure that the show would treat Micah just like TV treated Jeannie from the show "I Dream Of Jeannie"

or Samantha from " Bewitched."



In both series the gift that the girls had couldn't be used despite the fact that Darren and Captain Nelson could have had anything they wanted by just asking their girls. Nope their power needed to be hidden.The Capt. and Darren were almost ashamed of it...We didn't get an answer last night about Micah, his mom just got out of jail...but next week I'm sure will see Micah again and I think he'll be treated just like Samantha and Jeannie were.... Me, I'd buy the little guy a little Ski Mask and call it a day......What would you do?
