Washington DC Photos

The Washington Monument above with the sun setting behind it was one of the last pictures I took on Friday. We really tried to get as much in as we could on what proved to be a beautiful day in D.C.

The Jefferson Memorial

The Capitol Building

The Museum Of Natural History

The Lincoln Memorial

The Korean War Memorial

The museum of American History, I think I look a little Presidential.

One thing I noticed when we started out on the National Mall was that it really could use some turf builder, that proposal to spend a couple million on some grass seed might not have been too far off the mark.

Did you notice , I still got some moves !!

Well, I'm tired and going to bed, if you click on the pictures and they are extremely large, I'm sorry..I don't have my usual editing program .

Looks like you all had a very full day. I know there is a LOT of walking between those landmarks!

Very nice! I remember going to pick my Dad up from an aircraft carrier when I was a kid (Many, many, many moons ago...) and we went to DC. I hope I am able to one day take my boy - but something tells me it has changed quite a bit, and maybe I don't really want to go...time will tell, I guess.
Glad you had a good time :)

As someone born and raised in DC, it has changed dramatically. The house my parents paid $10,000 for was recently sold for $800,000...boggles the mind!!!!!
